Royal Flycatchers en Parque Nacional Cararra

Los 13 y 14 de abril durante las mananas (6 a 9 am), caminé los senderos de Cararra NP. Vi un Royal Flycatcher cerca el rio en el sendero quebrada bonita y otra que tiene nido sobre el sendero de meandrica lagoon.

Jerry O'Donahoe reportó un Savannah Hawk en los lowlands de Golfo Dulce martes el 15 de april.

Hook-billed Kite en Punta Uva

Vi un macho Hook-billed Kite (Chondrohierax uncinatus) cerca el hotel Almendras y Corales en Punta Uva el 8 de abril en el boque a las 3 pm. Tambien, observe estos otros bichos durante el breve caminata.

Lo vimos camino a el vanal La Palma en Tortuguero, el día 12 de marzo 2008.

Estaba pensando juvenil de Leptodon cayanensis, pero no estoy seguro...

Cocoa Woodcreeper (Xiphorhynchus susrrans) en valle central

Hoy, 30 de marzo, observé un Cocoa Woodcreeper en el camino de Universidad de la paz. Alguien hay reportado este bicho en el valle central antes?

Tambien vi un plain-capped Starthroat, scrub euphonia, y Barred antshrike (que lindos parajos).
